Background: Existing 7-11 store with a discharge system that was not meeting treatment levels. The existing treatment is a Delta Batch Plant with Chlorine Disinfection.
Problem: The system was not meeting treatment levels and the chlorine disinfection was problematic. The system was also subject to alarms from peak flow events.
Design Solution: We added a 7,000 gallon flow equalization tank, an EX-Treat recirculating media treatment polish at a 4 to 1 ration and UV disinfection. Also a new discharge tank and pump system was needed.
